I am a wife, mother and grandmother. My husband and I have 3 children, 1 son-in-law, and 1 granddaughter. Our daughters have both finished college and are working on graduate degrees. Our eldest is married, received her MS this past spring and is working on her PhD in nursing education. She is married and has a beautiful 2 year old daughter. Our second daughter is in her first year of law school and loves to write. She is the encouragement behind my blog, as well as my technical expert. Our son is 16, plays football, and shares my love of horses. My husband is in the construction business and has is own company. He and I have a wonderful relationship and one of our favorite activities to do together is cook. I have a masters degree in statistics and have worked full time since finishing graduate school.
One of my passions is quilting. I have sewed since I was a child, making some of my own clothes while in high school and college. In the early 90’s, I started being interested in quilting. One purpose of this blog is to encourage me to spend more time actually quilting, as opposed to collecting fabric and dreaming as I read magazines and blogs.
